Account Executive - Business Development

Our testing, monitoring and measurement products and services are used by a variety of enterprises such as online portals, e-commerce sites, B2B sites, mobile operators and mobile infrastructure providers. With us, companies know precisely how their Web sites, content, and applications perform on actual browsers, networks, and mobile devices.

We keep pace with the market, providing a breadth of products and services that help improve the online experience in four areas: Web performance, mobile quality, streaming, and real user experience testing. Today, we assist more than 2,800 corporate customers in becoming “the best of the best.” Our customers represent top Internet and mobile companies including American Express, Best Buy, Disney, eBay, E*TRADE, Expedia, FedEx, Google, Microsoft, and YouTube.
Reporting to the Director, New Business Sales -- the Account Executive-Business Development will be responsible for prospecting and selling our services, and closing new business. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success selling software or services and in fast paced SaaS business model.
Within a geographic territory the business development Representative will be responsible for selling our solutions to businesses using industry leading marketing, internet, telephony, and CRM tools.
Required Skills
• Generate outbound leads through a variety innovative prospecting solutions
• Inbound lead qualifying and closing
• Efficient use of CRM system
• Team with outside sales
• Accurate forecasting on Weekly, Monthly, and quarterly basis
• Managing all opportunities accelerate the buying process (evaluating, managing, and prioritizing opportunities)
• Identifying potential areas of product and service development
• Meet sales goals and quotas
• Remain current on products and competition
• Develop networking partnerships with technology partners in the Internet / Mobile / Cloud eco system
• Responsible for prospecting, discovery analysis, webex demos, and closing new business deals.
• Responsible for achievement of monthly, quarterly and yearly quota
Required Experience
• Working knowledge of Internet architecture, technology and infrastructure
• Minimum 5 years of telemarketing / outbound calling / inside sales experience
• SaaS selling experience is a big plus
• Ability to balance aggressiveness with professionalism
• Ability to work with executive level prospects, customers and partners
• Computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as experience in use of contact management and order processing systems
• College degree required
• Strong track record of developing new business and managing sales: from generating leads through closing
• Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in fast paced, dynamic, global resourced, team environment
• Ability to handle effectively multiple projects, prioritize work as well as meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of the performance monitoring industry – performance monitoring, CDN, internal monitoring and load testing.
