Account Manager

Our client is rapidly gaining market share in their niche offering financial/credit focused data solutions and services to businesses, and are one that is revolutionizing changing the face of their industry with their cutting-edge offerings. We are seeking a business development professional with experience selling services in the areas of credit risk, risk alert, commercial credit, credit monitoring, etc. to leverage their background with this exciting opportunity:

 

 

 

Position title: Account Manager

Locations: Chicago, Illinois

                  New York/New Jersey

                  Bay area,California 

 

 

Position description: 

The position involves working consultatively with senior finance, operations, and sales executives of major corporations to craft solutions that integrate the company’s business information solutions into existing systems and processes.  The successful candidate will need to be able to work with those executives in a consultative process to assess opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer risk management, supplier management, sales targeting and other B2B processes; and (ii) design custom data solutions and justify their value (ROI) to those executives

 

 

 

Position responsibilities: 



  • Cultivating your own leads 
  • Calling on Fortune 2000 companies 
  • Selling information services to new and existing accounts 
  • Building relationships with C-suite and senior executives across multiple verticals and job functions 
  • Account management and partner relationships  

 

Required skills: 

7+ years of business development and consultative sales experience with recent experience in one of the areas of credit risk, risk alert, commercial credit, credit monitoring, etc.

Experience and ability to call on C-level decision makers. Strong hunter skills and mentality.

Experience with supply chain consulting or solutions is preferred

Highly competitive personality; driven to consistently outperform quotas

Proven sales professional with strong references

A knack for problem solving and business analysis

Motivated, disciplined work ethic
