Overview:
The Assistant Producer will assist in the scheduling and coordination of content for digital media and ecommerce. The Assistant Producer will track and coordinate cross-functional / cross-campus deliverables and assist in the communication of issues and enhancements related to environments, systems, functionality and tools.
Key Accountabilities:
Help create and validate schedules for projects.
Coordinate project activities from various cross-functional / cross-campus business partners, including site merchandising, marketing, creative, content engineers, Macy's corporate marketing, QA, and 3 rd party vendors.
Work with production team to ensure all projects launch on time.
Support the facilitation of meetings and document and communicate meeting recaps.
May assist in the follow up for meeting action items
Assist cross-functional teams to manage work-flow of product content: copy, images and outfits
Act as the first point of contact for cross-functional business teams when content and tool issues occur.
Work with appropriate teams to facilitate resolution and communicate updates to business teams.
Update, maintain, and communicate content delivery schedules.
Assist production team with various task related to projects, training and communication.
Work with team members of functional areas including marketing, buying, site merchandising, design, photo studio, content engineering, product management, Macy's corporate teams and IT.
Skills Summary:
BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
1-2 years of detailed task planning and execution experience 1-2 years of related online experience with a strong preference for ecommerce
Demonstrated understanding of digital production and release processes, including direct experience with digital tools and technologies.
Proven project management skills.
Detailed oriented.
Strong oral / written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated. Ability to work well independently and within a multi-functional, multi-campus team.
