Big 4 Client Accounting / Audit Staff
We are helping a client to hire for multiple accounting/audit staff positions in the Bay Area! Candidates will be based out of San Francisco, San Jose, and/or Palo Alto. We are looking for candidates with Big 4 employment history (combined with 1+ years of corporate accounting is a plus).

Client Accounting / Audit Staff Requirements: * Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance * CPA or progress toward certification is preferred * 3-8+ years of accounting experience including at least 3 busy seasons in external audit with a Big 4 or National CPA Firm * Considerable knowledge of public accounting audit practices and procedures * Considerable knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (U.S. GAAS); and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards * Strong computer desktop skills are required * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, etc.) are desirable * Demonstrated career progression * Strong general accounting knowledge - Month / Year-End Close, General Ledger, Financial / SEC Reporting, Consolidations, Financial Analysis, Controllership, Transaction Services, etc, skills are preferred * ERP / Financial Performance Management Software user experience is preferred * Desirable systems include: SAP (including Business Warehouse), Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase, PeopleSoft, or JD Edwards (preferred) * Must have worked at the Senior-level in a Big 4 environment or 2nd-Tier as long as the clients were large public / SEC companies (within the last 5 years, preferably)
