Job Summary: The Cardiac Sonographer Noninvasive specialist performs the daily duties required for the performance, recording and processing of all non-invasive procedures in Cardiology. Job Requirements: Minimum education: High school or equivalent. Associates degree in Cardiovascular Technology from an accredited program preferred. Minimum experience: Experience:1-2 years of Pediatric Echocardiography, ECG's, Holters and Stress Testing preferred. Required Course(s)/ Training:Successful completion of Registry specialty exam from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) - Pediatric Echo Examination within 3 years of employment. CPR-BLS. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: The Cardiovascular Technologist must be able to independently perform the daily duties required for the performance and recording of all non-invasive procedures in the noninvasive labs.
