EMPLOYEE / GROUP BENEFITS ANALYST
IPS has an immediate opportunity for a dynamic candidate to research and analyze group insurance plans and act as a liaison between the Broker and insurance carrier. Our independent client company provides outstanding products and customer service in all aspects of employee and executive benefits and financial services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Discuss renewal / marketing strategy with Broker and Account Manager
Create, submit, negotiate and follow up on proposals, options and responses with insurance carriers
Prepare attractive and clear proposals for client meetings with comparisons of plans and rates
Maintain current knowledge of products, changes and underwriting guidelines
Ensure files are up to date
Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of group insurance, underwriting experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft, word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher desired
Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills a must
Organized, self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Must possess integrity, be a team player and be results oriented
California Life & Health License preferred, not required
