As a Financial Analyst with TriNet, you will provide business and financial advice to TriNet's senior management team through various budgeting and analysis functions.  The position is responsible for preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports and analyses for assigned departments and/or member(s) of the management team and serve as liaison to assist them with all of their financial needs.  The position provides regular support to other Finance-related functions, such as the month-end cloase process.  The position assists in analyzing strategic endeavors, new business opportunities, customer pricing and profitability, long-term forecasting, new product ROI, and other ad hoc projects as required.   Job Duties:

• Act as liaison and provide financial support to assigned department(s) or member(s) of the management team
• Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Report on actual financial results against targets, provide analysis of variances, and assist in guidance on future trends
• Provide support to other Finance departments and functions such as, but not limited to:
• Provide analysis of client profitability and recommendations on pricing
• Assist in automation of repetitive data aggregation/manipulation tasks to enable greater focus on value add analysis
• Assist in ongoing improvement of TriNet’s financial, planning, and business intelligence systems
• Assist in enabling strong cross-functional communications and enhanced efficiencies by leading teams through process improvement efforts
• Assist in ad hoc financial analysis projects and report preparation as required
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion

Job Requirements:

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required, MBA preferred
• 5+ years Corporate Financial Analysis experience required
• Experience in the financial services and/or insurance industry preferred
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financial
• Essbase and/or Hyperion planning a plus
• Advance Excel, intermediate PowerPoint, and basic Word  
• Good presentation skills with the ability to work closely with senior level management
• High level of organization, integrity, accuracy, and precision 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly driven and self-motivated with leadership ability
• Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
