Marketing Account Manager
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Act as the primary point-of-contact for the customer and lead the day-to-day management of national accounts • Provide leadership in the development of customers’ strategies and presentations • Define customers’ business needs and identify areas of opportunity to increase account growth and drive revenue • Develop and negotiate pricing recommendations for select accounts • Inform team members of opportunities, issues and barriers in a timely manner as well as report progress on current objectives • Develop program summaries/analysis and present to senior decision makers • Utilize fact-based tools to improve our ability to provide customers more value than our competitors • Analyze sales and product, develop recommendations and communicate strategy changes • Participate in the development of a business plan for customers • Create and assemble marketing materials and organize meetings • Carefully monitor communication response data and other performance and marketing metrics • Coordinate the production and distribution of various communications with outside factories and customers • Assist in the development of advertising plan • Manage and maintain product and data information within company systems • Assist in marketing research • Create and distribute rollout communications for program updates, product enhancements, direct marketing programs and sales tools. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Travel – 10% to 20% required
Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in delivering measurable, successful marketing strategies • Major retail account experience highly preferred • Detail Oriented • Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skills required • Computer Literacy • Process oriented including milestones and deadlines • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
