The role of the Regional Manager will lead the regional Account Managers and Sales Consultants across a defined geographic region. This position is responsible for the development of tactical plans, in alignment with jurisdictional sales strategies, to maximize sales and revenue growth of Intellectual Property Solutions (IPS).
 
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth of regional sales through the successful creation of tactical sales strategies and effective team management.

  • Lead Account Managers and Sales Consultants to hit new account acquisition, revenue retention and growth goals.

  • Motivate and maintain a team of qualified and well trained regional representatives adept at representing the complete line of IP Solutions products and services through a consultative sales approach.

  • Support geographic expansion and business development initiatives in regional market segments working in collaboration with the Sales Leadership team. High impact communication and implementation of agreed strategies to the regional sales representatives.

  • Ensure collaboration of the inside sales team and regional representatives to successfully implement targeted and effective selling initiatives appropriate to the specified customer base to deliver growth of client revenue.

  • Drive high performance across the team, including setting overall performance objectives, expectations and standards. Leads by example.

  • Optimize communication, interaction and relationship building with internal resources, stakeholders and external customers.

  • Regularly attend customer meetings and conferences to add value through support of regional team members and increased customer touch points with IPS sales management.

  • Recruit, manage, and develop management and employees within the organization.

  • Establish and maintain an environment that optimizes team and individual performance for the business.  Ensure key metrics and performance targets are effectively managed and tracked across the regional sales organization.

  • Foster collaboration with a virtual, cross-functional team serving the global business.
