Security Clearance: Secret

Excellent working knowledge of CATIA V5 or equivalent 3D modeling software.

The successful applicant will perform mechanical design of electromagnetic/RF components, antennas, radomes, full scale RCS/RF test fixtures support structures, flight qualified hardware, composite/metallic component/structures, and will provide support for other classified activities. The candidate should have a strong background mechanical design, environmental testing, stress, thermal, composites and materials. The successful candidate must have previous CAD experience, CATIA V4 and/or V5 experience preferred. The candidate must have experience with mechanical design of electromagnetic/RF components, and a fundamental understanding of EM theories. Experiences in stress and structural analysis is a plus. BS in Aeronautical engineering or mechanical engineering with 9 years of experience, or MS in aeronautical engineering or mechanical engineering with 7 years of experience, as a hardware design engineer preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered equivalent to the degree requirement. Case-by case evaluation must occur. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
The following comment is not targeted at any specific salary grade level. The successful applicant will be compensated based on market rates and internal equity for the work to be performed. The successful internal applicant may be transferred laterally (the same salary grade) with or without a change in compensation or may be promoted into a higher salary grade with or without an upward adjustment in compensation.

CATIA V4,NASTRAN. Experience with Aircraft LO design, edges, antennas and Radome design. In addition experience with composite design and fabrication is advantageous.
