Senior Litigation Attorney
Title: Senior Litigation Attorney Location: USA-California, Santa Clara
In this position, you will be reporting to the Director of Patent Litigation and although you could be assigned almost any type of case, you will be focusing primarily on complex patent litigation. You will be responsible for managing particular intellectual property and other complex lawsuits filed against or by Intel. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Responsible for every respect for the cases assigned to you - Directly managing the litigation team, which could include inside attorneys, outside attorneys, paralegals, litigation support specialists, engineers and business managers - Developing and executing the litigation strategy, and independently managing all discovery efforts and outline - Developing briefs, oral arguments and trial strategies, and generally providing overall guidance and direction to outside counsel You must possess a law degree from an accredited institution, and should preferably possess an undergraduate degree or a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics. You must have at least eight years of experience as a full-time or near full-time patent litigation in a national practice. Additional qualifications include: - Active member of the California, Arizona, or Oregon State Bar in a good standing - Experience in managing very large complex cases - Excellent teaming and project leadership skills - Demonstrated personal courtroom success, including participation in jury selection and trial strategy - Demonstrated ability to formulate successful, complex pre-litigation and litigation strategies - Ability to perform out-of-state and potentially international travel depending on the locations and status of the cases assigned to you - Ability to function and manage independently, but also work well in an environment that requires working with others to be successful - Ability to accurately evaluate and report to Intel's senior management on potential litigation outcomes - Experience in international patent litigation and semiconductor patent litigation would be an added advantageJob Category: LegalFull/Part Time: Full TimeJob Type: Experienced
