The company is well-positioned and well-respected in the industry. They are seeking an experienced Technical Marketing Manager to position and brand the company’s suite of products. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment and will be a subject matter expert in High Performance Computing; in particular, High Performance Computing interconnects such Infiniband and Ethernet.
Responsibilities:
The Technical Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating the product vision and strategy for the full suite of offerings in High Performance Computing. This role includes managing High Performance ComputingSolutions, defining product market requirements, developing business plans, and managing relationships and collaborations with company partners and customers. You will partner with Product Management to help define the offerings and the roadmap for sales success. Understanding the competitive environment and assessing market requirements will be key to developing the market strategy, and value proposition. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working with sales, system architects, engineering and manufacturing departments to successfully execute the product strategy. Developing marketing collateral and sales support materials and tools is also part of this assignment. In summary, the major responsibilities fall into understanding the market, defining the offering and positioning the offering, in order for the sales organization to drive revenues and for the company to be perceived as the expert in this area.
Qualifications/Requirements:
5 + years experience in technical marketing, managing High Performance Computing Solutions a must
Hand’s on experience with high performance computing products a must
Experience in defining and executing a High Performance Computing strategy from market introduction to product success a must
A proven track record in learning new technologies and clearly communicating their value proposition
The ability to speak with the customer and drive engineering to develop what is needed
Experience and success at creating documentation as well as presenting to large and small groups
Education: BS or MS degree in a related field; MBA is an advantage
Location: Santa Clara, CA - relocation expenses will be considered for the right candidate Travel: 10% both Domestic & International
Reports to: Senior Director of High Performance Computing and Technical Computing
Compensation: Base $125K - $150K depending on current earnings and experience, excellent bonus potential, stock options and full benefits package including medical, dental, 401K and ESPP
