Job Description - VP, Product Management - Mobile
Tealeaf Technology () is a rapidly expanding San Francisco-based company that is the recognized leader in Customer Experience Management with world-class clients that read as a who's-who of Internet commerce in Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing and Travel. Tealeaf CX Solutions enable companies to ensure the success of their customer's Web or Mobile interactions, which is enabled by Tealeaf's unmatched visibility into the real-time customer experience.
Tealeaf is seeking a seasoned, senior-level product manager with mobile experience to fill a VP Product Management position. This is a strategic, high-profile role that will own and lead Tealeaf's Mobile solutions. The VP will have ownership and responsibility for driving the strategy, development, go-to-market and execution against key business goals. This role will have a tight interface with executive leadership and be a primary market-facing interface and representative for customers, analysts, industry experts and partners.

Responsibilities:
Own the product strategy and long-term product roadmap for Tealeaf's Mobile product line and RIA solution capabilities.
Drive new market opportunities and partnerships including potential M&A activity
Define and establish agreement on prioritized market requirements against strategic company objectives and revenue goals
Lead product planning and delivery by developing detailed product requirements, setting and managing priorities and driving a cross-functional team of resources from requirements definition through product launch to deliver committed scope, on schedule and with the highest possible degree of quality
Define and manage strategic go-to-market activities - pricing and packaging, key messaging and positioning, securing reference customers, product demonstrations, competitive analysis, and press, analyst and industry expert relations
Function as a primary interface to senior management and Tealeaf executive team for the product responsibilities under the role
Function as a primary market-facing interface and representative for customers, press, analysts, industry experts and partners
Architect and drive customer acquisition strategies and programs for the mobile product line
Architect and drive market adoption strategy and program for RIA technologies ranging from integration, open source, freemium and other methods
Identify and recruit strategic technology partners; define and lead go-to-market strategy and activities
Manage outsourced development and consultancies, including selection, scoping, budgeting, ongoing management and reporting status to senior management and executive teams
Work directly with user interface design resources and engineering to design and develop new features
Recruit and manage beta and development partner accounts
Qualifications:
Required - 7+ years enterprise software experience in a senior level product management role
Required – 3-5+ years experience with Mobile platforms, ideally managing a Mobile application or Mobile Web ecommerce offering or analytics solution
Compelling track record of demonstrating initiative by taking on significant challenges, driving strategy and innovative solutions
Compelling track record of meeting key corporate objectives and revenue goals for new and existing products
Clearly demonstrable skills for translating market and customer needs into clear use-cases and actionable requirements from which engineering can develop detailed and comprehensive design specifications
Deep understanding of iOS, Android, Blackberry and Windows Phone-based mobile application and tablet technologies
Deep understanding of RIA technologies, including AJAX, JQuery and DoJo frameworks; proficient understanding of Adobe Flash, Adobe Flex and Microsoft Silverlight
Deep understanding of the analytics market landscape, including Web analytics, business intelligence and multivariate testing
Deep understanding of Web application technologies and infrastructure used to power ebusiness platforms
Great process and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail
Experience working in an agile development process
Proven ability to drive cross-functional teams to define and execute a plan to scope and on time
Proven self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in teams.
Must have experience interfacing with both sales and engineering groups.
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in fast growing startups and established companies.
Energetic and creative with an upbeat, positive attitude.
BA/BS required; computer science undergraduate and MBA preferred.
