Client Overview
Our client is one of the largest and most prestigious financial services organizations in the United States and one of the largest global banks. They operate almost 500 branches throughout the U.S. with assets of over $300 billion. The bank provides a full range of products and services to individuals, corporations and businesses. Their cash management business is one of the largest and fastest growing based upon their US and Worldwide breadth of top quality products and services.
They are currently looking to further expand their cash management business by adding a VP Senior Cash Management Regional Sales reporting directly to a Team Leader. They are seeking a middle market ($5 million to $5 billion) cash management regional sales person in the San Francisco area and no relocation assistance is available.
Key Responsibilities
The VP Senior Cash Management Regional Sales is responsible for consultative selling of customized, cross-border and domestic cash management products and services to the corporate middle market in the San Francisco area.
The key responsibilities of a VP Senior Cash Management Regional Sales are to help maximize profitability and relationship depth by:
· Developing effective strategies for maintaining and growing Group relationships with current and potential customers in the portfolio to achieve established objectives.
· Maintaining and enhancing the image of the Group through implementation of a calling program and active participation in industry associations and organizations.
· Coordinating customer service delivery and relationship management and strategic alliances to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach.
· Designing and implementing workable, innovative solutions for customers’ individualized needs and generate and receive referrals for other products and services.
· Communicating customer product and service requirements to Product Management team to help design and implement enhancements to existing products and develop new products, to ensure delivery of a high quality product and service to the customer base.
· Maintaining strong awareness of credit, audit, compliance and regulatory requirements and international competitive, economic, political and regulatory environments affecting the portfolio and inform management of issues affecting competitiveness.
Required Experience & Qualifications
The “ideal” Senior Cash Management Regional Sales will have:
Minimum of five years proven and progressive corporate banking sales experience with a concentration in global cash management products
Strong sales, interpersonal, communications, negotiations, analytical, presentation and decision-making skills
Strong understanding of the cash management business, corporate clientele needs, and global financial trends
